Mr. Bach is one of only 8% of California immigration attorneys who are certified by the State Bar of California as Certified Specialists in Immigration and Nationality Law. James Bach has been granted the highest A/V rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which “identifies a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability” reflecting “expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence” and “the highest professional and ethical standards.”   Mr. Bach is one of only 8% of California immigration attorneys who is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law (State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization).

The firm represents both corporation and individuals, with a focus on H-1B visas, PERM labor certifications, and other business immigration cases, as well as family-based immigration and complex analysis and solutions in all other areas of immigration and nationality law.  Practice areas include:

·        Adjustment of Status applications in INS offices throughout the United States, and applications for Consular Processing of Immigrant Visas at U.S. Embassies and Consulates throughout the world.

·        Waivers of excludability, including J-1 waivers and waivers relating to the 5-year bar.

·        Permanent residence (“green card”) status for nurses, doctors and other health care workers.
