Welcome to Bay Area Lawyers Network. Formed in 1996, the Bay Area Lawyers Network (BALN) is a select group of expert attorneys that concentrate their practice in one area of law. BALN has 20 member attorneys who are all accomplished specialists in a wide variety of practice areas. Each member has a minimum of 10 years of experience in one area of law, and in some cases, members are Certified Specialists, as in the fields of immigration law, family law, taxation and criminal law.

The BALN is dedicated to providing opportunities for the members to meet on a monthly basis to network, have a delightful luncheon, and provide quality MCLE programs. Each member is given an opportunity to make a presentation to the group at the luncheon for up to one hour. In this way, members become very well acquainted with each other as professionals.

The BALN is certified by the State Bar of California as a provider of continuing legal education, and offers 9 MCLE programs annually in a wide variety of subjects, with ongoing emphasis in legal ethics.

The BALN holds monthly luncheons and MCLE programs at the City Club of San Francisco, a historical landmark located in the Stock Exchange Tower building at 155 Sansome Street in downtown San Francisco. The décor is art deco, the accommodations luxurious and the service and food are first rate.

The network also provides the opportunity through its social events for the members to get to know each other better.
