Welcome to Bay Area Lawyers Network. Formed in 1996, the Bay Area Lawyers Network (BALN) is a select group of expert attorneys who concentrate their practice in one area of law. BALN member attorneys are accomplished specialists in a wide variety of practice areas. Each member has a minimum of 10 years of experience in one area of law, and in some cases, members have been certified by the State Bar of California as specialists.
The BALN is dedicated to providing opportunities for the members from different specialties to meet on a monthly basis to network, have a delightful luncheon, and provide quality MCLE programs. Each member is given an opportunity to make a one-hour presentation to the group. In this way, members become very well acquainted with each other as professionals for marketing their practices and for referrals to experts they know.
The BALN is certified by the State Bar of California as a provider of continuing legal education, and offers 8 MCLE programs annually in a wide variety of subjects, with ongoing emphasis on legal ethics.
The BALN holds monthly luncheons and MCLE programs at the City Club of San Francisco, a historical landmark located in the Stock Exchange Tower at 155 Sansome Street in downtown San Francisco. The décor is art deco, the accommodations luxurious, and the service and food are first rate.
Inquiries about potential membership should be directed in writing to [email protected].
