Jason Geller is managing partner of the Fisher and Phillips, LLP’s San Francisco office. Mr. Geller represents employers in all areas of labor law. Since 1993 Mr. Geller has defended employers in litigation involving claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and California wage and hour laws. His experience also includes defending employers against whistleblowing and retaliation claims, including claims under the California Whistleblower Act, the False Claims Act and various provisions of the California Labor Code.

Mr. Geller has defended many employers in federal and state court, as well as in investigations by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, United States Department of Labor and the National Labor Relations Board.

Besides many years of experience in employment litigation, Mr. Geller counsels employers how to avoid litigation. He regularly advises clients on leave management issues and the interactive process for employees with disabilities, reinstatement obligations under various leave laws and wage and hour compliance. Jason has prepared employee handbooks and a variety of agreements, including independent contractor, employment, confidentiality and trade secrets agreements.

His clients are involved in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction,, architecture, engineering, professional services, agriculture, technology, restaurant and retail industries.
